Family Adventures Await
Fair Play’s relaxed atmosphere, warm hospitality and light-hearted sense of fun make family adventuring enjoyable. Many of our wineries offer all-ages games, activities and kid-friendly spaces (under parental supervision). You can soak up some fresh air and sunshine, maybe pack a picnic, befriend a winery dog, and see what other fun you can discover!

Our region is passionate about food and wine, and we love to share our knowledge and culinary creations. Treat your taste buds with an exquisite pairing flight, learn the secrets of what makes a great pairing, or relax on one of our patios with house-prepared tapas and an excellent glass of wine. Add a 360 degree view and the company of good friends, and you’ll have all the ingredients for a perfect day!

Shadow Ranch's expansive 80 acres are home to a plethora of wildlife. Bring your binoculars for bird watching or stroll down to our pond to listen to the toads. Spread a blanket in our grassy and shaded picnic grounds and soak up the beauty of the Sierra Foothills. We farm organically and steward the natural beauty of our landscape.

Whether that’s quiet reflection among the vines, a self-guided sensory walk, or lingering with a glass beside the pond. This open-ended experience invites you to slow down and let the property reveal itself.

Gwinllan Estate is known for its down-to-earth atmosphere, deep respect for the environment and connection with the vines. Relax on our patio, surround yourself with the beauty of the Foothills and enjoy the views for 60 miles. You might spot our resident Red Hawk or the cattle grazing. Complimentary vineyard tours Sept-Nov.

With a glass of wine in hand, tour our 300-acre private valley and interact with our Scottish Highlander cattle, horses, inquisitive Alpacas, feral barn cats and a brood of unique chickens. Meet Norman, the Clydesdale, and Zeus, the Great Dane.
